RISING Festival with Hublot in Melbourne

RISING Melbourne x Hublot

Describing itself as a “surge of art, music and ceremony at the rise of the full moon”, RISING Festival promised to be exactly the sort of event needed to salve the soul of a lockdown-weary Melbourne. Unfortunately, due to the recently imposed snap lockdown, the festival was paused but will return in 2022.

A Miracle Constantly Repeated

As a renowned patron of the arts and supporter of cultural exhibitions, Hublot was named the Official Timekeeper of the Melbourne-based festival. And so, on the night of the blood-red full moon, we welcomed Hublot watch enthusiasts for a dinner and guided tour of Patricia Piccinini’s Flinders Street Station exhibition, ‘A Miracle Constantly Repeated’, by the artist herself.

Patricia Piccinini’s Flinders Street Masterpiece

Hidden for decades, Flinders Street Station’s mysterious ballroom hosted Piccinini’s immersive ecosystem; an empathetic vision of the future, replete with hyper-realistic silicone sculptures, audiovisual installations and light works devised by the internationally renowned Australian contemporary artist.

Hublot Collector Dinner at Supernormal

The dinner was held at Supernormal – a Melbourne icon by x-factor chef-restaurateur Andrew McConnell. Known for blending Asian-inspired flavours, Supernormal was the perfect venue to discuss Hublot’s “Art of Fusion” watchmaking philosophy with passionate local collectors.

RISING vows they’ll be back. We’re all looking forward to it! Follow their Instagram for updates.
