Watches Of Switzerland Mid-Year Sale at VivoCity

From 5-18 June, Watches of Switzerland will be hosting the Mid-Year Sale at VivoCity Central Court 1. For two weeks, we will be presenting a special selection of watches showcasing the best of contemporary watchmaking. We have shortlisted some picks that will take your wrists to new heights for this season and beyond.

Here are some of the highlights that you will not want to miss!

Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Diver White Bronze evokes the glorious hours of the first underwater explorations with a modern flair. With its sophisticated, neo-retro allure, the new BR 03-92 Diver White Bronze exudes modernity. The watch complies with ISO-6425, the international standard for diver’s watch, meaning it is magnetic-resistant, shock resistant, and saltwater resistant. Limited edition of 999 pieces.

Four iconic cars from the 1950s and 1960s have their design signatures reinterpreted in the form of a Breitling Top Time. Each chronograph watch, cased in sleek polished and brushed stainless steel, features a dial design that is based on the car’s iconic colours and emblazoned with its emblem. Common to the collection is the speed-measuring tachymeter scale on the perimeter of the dial, and the “squircle” (not quite square, not quite round) subdial design, evocative of vintage dashboard gauges. The 41mm stainless steel case is comfortably matched with a perforated leather racing strap.

Longines is giving its Longines Spirit line all the attitude and elegance of a watch that is ready to follow you in all your adventures. The stainless steel case houses an exclusive, COSC-certified automatic movement (L888.4) with silicon balance-spring. A domed sapphire glass protects a sunray champagne dial set with Arabic numerals and polished, rhodiumplated hands coated with Super-LumiNova®. This model with a perfectly balanced design sports a stainless steel bracelet.

Not one to shy from colour, NOMOS often uses their minimalist Bauhaus designs to explore various hues and tones. The latest Tetra models take on a distinctly pastel pink hue that is extravagance, squared. With its compact 30mm case and hand-wound Alpha calibre, this newest quartet in the Tetra collection plays with pastel-dominant tones and bold contrasts. As NOMOS designer Thomas Höhnel puts it, it’s an “adult color scheme revolving around the color pink”.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph 42mm watch brings the spirit of motor racing to the fore. Housed in a steel case with fine-brushed and polished finishing, the dial features a striking orange gradient ring and vivid orange touches against a blue backdrop. Powered by the Calibre Heuer 02 movement with 80 hours power reserve and water resistant to 100m, it is backed by a 5-year warranty.
