Introducing: Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Label Noir
Louis Erard collaborates with Label Noir to release a new regulator watch. This latest release has Louis Erard’s Le Régulateur as the canvas for a study in black, punctuated by sparks of acid green.
A Meeting of Two Brands
Label Noir is a Geneva-based atelier at the forefront of customisation for more than ten years. Its signature style: customising watches in various textures and shades of black. As for Louis Erard, Le Régulateur has become the Jura-based watchmaker’s canvas of choice for collaborations.

In the new Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Label Noir, this concept is all about depth. Emmanuel Curti, head watchmaker and founder of Label Noir, wanted to redesign the regulator in his own way of reading the time: first the hour, then the minute, then the seconds. This order of reading led to graduated finishes, from true matte to a glossy sheen. Against the matte black backdrop, the first thing that jumps out to the eye is the small hours subdial – the only glossy element on the watch, punctuated by the mirror-polished steel hands, taking the eye from the hour to the minutes. The acid-green seconds hand, with the subdial chapter ring marked with green indices, echo the white and green minute track around the perimeter of the dial.
The stainless steel case of Le Régulateur also receives a black treatment. In this edition, the 42mm case is sandblasted and finished with a matte black PVD coating. The front of the watch is completed by the domed sapphire crystal, with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. In a departure from the norm, the display case back is protected by green-tinted glass, giving the view of the decorated automatic Sellita SW266-1 movement an enviable tinge. Finally, the watch comes on a black nylon strap with acid green stitching, black calf leather lining, and a matching black PVD coated stainless steel pin buckle.
The new Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Label Noir is a limited edition of 178 pieces – a symbolic number signifying that we are always stronger together.
