Deconstructing & Cleaning Timelapse of Jean Kazes Clock

The Hour Glass Ginza is closing for the next few months to undergo a total refit.This Jean Kazes clock has been fronting the entrance the boutique in Ginza for the past decade. Shimizu-San, The Hour Glass Ginza’s Assistant Boutique Manager and trained watchmaker spent, in a single session without a break, 10 hours disassembling the clock, cleaning the components and reassembling it for temporary storage till we reopen in September 2021.
