The special feature of this instrumental chronograph is the use of the DIAPAL technology . This technology was successfully used for the first time in 2001. The starting point of our considerations at the time was the critical point of every mechanical watch: the aging of the oil, especially in the area of ​​the Swiss lever escapement and the associated negative effects on the precise rate behavior of the movement. From the analysis to the solution it was (theoretically) only a small step: where there is no oil, there is no aging. But what is formulated in such a catchy way resulted in many tests in practice. The technology is documented by the lettering DIAPAL on the anthracite-colored dial.
