Hublot Watches & How To Wear Them 2

Location: Paddington, Sydney

Following on from our shoot with Sam (see here), we headed to the Paddington – a few clicks East of the Sydney CBD to shoot another collection of Hublot watches in the studio. Working with @its_ivyyang & @mr.jin_k, photographer @NicholasGascoine shot some of the year’s most popular Hublot watches on analog film. Also on set were technician @you_john, stylist @isabellamamas & hair/makeup artist  @nishavanberkelmakeup. While there’s no one way to wear a watch, we’ve gone ahead and prepped a few ways for you below. Enjoy.

Classic Fusion Orlinski Alternative Pavé (Ref: 550.NS.1800.RX.1804.ORL19)

Early 2019, Hublot unveiled the Classic Fusion Orlinski collection. Up until now, Orlinski’s geometric design has been limited to the exterior of the case. In a first, Hublot transplanted the iconic design onto the dial, resulting in a wonderful display of light and shadow. Available in either titanium or King Gold there’s the added option to have an alternative pavé diamond case (seen above) or full pavé (with 264 diamonds set into the case).

Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon Carbon Blue (Ref: 645.QL.7117.RX)

This Spirit of Big Bang features a blue-veined carbon fibre case. Weighing half as much as aluminium yet three times stronger, carbon fibre has the highest weight to strength ratio of any material. So it’s no wonder Hublot continues to create new variants of this traditionally black material. Under the hood is the open-worked HUB6020 manufacture manual winding calibre with a tourbillon and at the 8 o’clock position there’s a blue and red accented power-reserve indicator.

anti-reflective treatment. It’s a three-dimensional representation of his famed two-dimensional ink designs.
