Hublot Welcomes FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ to Singapore with A Pop-Up at VivoCity


As the Official Timekeeper of the FIFA World Cup for the fourth season running, Hublot sparks football fever in Singapore with the Hublot Loves Football pop-up at VivoCity. Register below to experience it for yourself!

For fans who have already begun the countdown to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ kickoff on 20 November, the pop-up celebrates some of the best elements of the beautiful game: Tactics and skill, extreme anticipation, world-class players, exclusive merchandise, and professional instruments.

From 16th to 27th November, Hublot transforms Centre Court Level 1 at VivoCity into an interactive and immersive football experience, to celebrate the quadrennial tournament. With freestyle football performances, a test of your skills with Fast Feet, VR immersion into the Hublot football metaverse, and an exhibition featuring specially designed footballs by Mira Mikati for football icons, this all-round experience will be sure to ignite your passion for football.

The Beautiful Game

Throughout the 12-day duration of the pop-up, there are various activities organised for the Hublot fans and football-loving community in Singapore. The current female Freestyle Football World Champion, Lia Lewis will be entertaining the crowd on 18th and 19th November with freestyle football performances at 5pm and 7pm.

Put your skills to the test at Fast Feet, a game that will challenge your aim and the power of your kick. A series of coloured panels represent sets of scores to aim at, with the panels lighting up to capture the scores. Visitors can also take photos with the Hublot Loves Football backdrop as well as the Electronic Football Substitution Board, which will be used at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

For something unique,  put your best face forward at the 360-degree photobooth spot for a photoshoot, and get the GIF video emailed to you.

There will also be an exhibition area, showcasing one-of-a-kind football designs by Lebanese fashion designer Mira Mikati for the new Hublot Loves Football campaign. These football designs were specially created for football icons such as Brazilian legend Pelé, French striker Kylian Mbappé, American striker Alex Morgan and English national team manager Gareth Southgate.

Of special mention is the Hublot Big Bang e FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM, a Gen3 connected watch equipped with a new “timeline” function. As a game kicks off, the watch will automatically enter “match mode” and activate “timeline”, which will indicate events such as goals scored, yellow and red cards and penalties on a scale at the outer edge of the dial. It is the highest performing connected watch to date and boasts an even larger and improved high-definition screen – perfect for capturing every glorious moment of the game by the new designed dedicated football app. All 129 official referees will also be timing the games with the new Big Bang e FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM on their wrists.

Completing the full football experience a visit to the Metaverse at the immersive area. Put on the VR goggles to enter the ‘Hublot Loves Football Metaverse Stadium’. The stadium structure takes inspiration from the intricate design of the case body and digital face of the Big Bang e watch. Designed by acclaimed stadium architects, MEIS, and metaverse builders, Spatial, the 90,000-seater boasts a kilometre-long concourse and media wall and is the largest venue built in the Spatial metaverse too.
