Hublot, the Swiss luxury sport watchmaker, together with its exclusive partner in Thailand – PMT The Hour Glass, announced the opening of Hublot flagship boutique located on the Ground Level of Central Embassy – Bangkok’s newest iconic luxury shopping mall. Conceived entirely by the Hublot interior designer team, the Hublot boutique adopts the latest design elements blending perfectly, luxury and ”Art of Fusion” concept.
The opening of the first Hublot Boutique in Thailand shows the brand’s growing presence and continuing momentum in the country. The boutique, which covers 60m2 and represents the famous “Art of Fusion” concept, is a space that showcases a blend of various elements: glass, metal, leather, fabric and wood, combined to create a warm and intimate atmosphere where customers can immerse themselves in the world of Hublot. A range of light fittings including table lamps, wall lights and custom made chandelier, adds an artistic touch that accentuates the display cases housing Hublot’s exclusive timepieces.
The brand’s key models have been reinterpreted on Pop Art-style canvases, which enable the audience to view a watch from different approach. The featuring of innovative displays: animated holographic and LCG at the boutique façade welcome customers and invite them to enter the world of Hublot. The Swiss luxury watch brand offers vast collection, including boutique exclusives, which are suitable for both casual and formal functions.
The boutique opening event on 11th September 2014 by Mr.Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, was an event to celebrate the first boutique in Thailand by introducing the world of Hublot to customers and members of the press through this Hublot Exhibition. The key visual and decoration of the event incorporates Hublot brand identity and the meaningful symbols. The exhibition area is divided into four sections: Manufacture Pieces, Ferrari & Limited Editions, Hublot Loves Football, and Ladies Watches. Each section gives Hublot the opportunity to communicate the brand spirit and know-how, alongside the strategic partnerships, including Ferrari and FIFA World Cup™. Hublot also presents a collection of iconic watches through a series of themed showcases.
The Ferrari and Limited Edition area features the entire new range of Ferrari Limited Editions launched in 2014. Ferrari car models and photographs are displayed to show Hublot’s association as Ferrari’s “Official Watch” and “Official Timekeeper”. The super watch LAFERRARI 50 DAYS POWER RESERVE is displayed for the first time in Thailand. The entire piece has been conceived to reflect Hublot with Ferrari’s pure DNA: sport, performance and technology. Other popular limited editions are displayed at the Limited Edition wall includes Big Bang Unico All Black Blue, Big Bang Aero Bang Depeche Mode and Classic Fusion Tour Auto.
The Hublot Loves Football area is presented through the artistically built exhibition room in football shape. As FIFA World Cup’s “Official Timekeeper”, Hublot is proud to present the Big Bang Unico 2014 FIFA World Cup™ with a bi-retrograde display. It is one of the only movements of its type in the watchmaking industry today, especially developed for football fans. The window also features Limited Edition pieces that were created with Hublot Ambassadors from the world of football including Pelé, the legend of football and José Mourinho, the current manager of Chelsea FC.
Finally, the Ladies Watch Corner gives Hublot the chance to show off its expertise in fusing timeless arts and fashion. The Big Bang Pop Art is the burst of colour and jewel in yellow gold rose, yellow gold apple, steel blue and steel purple. The Big Bang Jeans introduces the harmony of luxury and modernity. The Classic Fusion White merges sporty and elegant features make it a stunning timepiece. This ultra-feminine series are truly a delight to the eye and a must-see part of the exhibition.
The exhibition is never complete without the boast of Manufacture Pieces housing the Manufacture calibre. The Classic Fusion Tourbillon Skeleton Skull is the perfect fusion of the traditional and the modern, the craftsmanship of the past and a 21st-century creative vision for watch making. Its development required a completely original approach and thinking outside the box.
