The five-year guarantee which applies to all Rolex models is coupled with the green seal, a symbol of its status as a Superlative Chronometer. This exclusive designation attests that the watch has successfully undergone a series of specific final controls by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria, in addition to the official COSC certification of its movement.

All Rolex watches are assembled by hand with the utmost care to ensure exceptional quality. Such high standards naturally restrict Rolex production capacity and, at times, the demand for Rolex watches outpaces this capacity.

Therefore, the availability of certain models may be limited. New Rolex watches are exclusively sold by Official Rolex Retailers, who receive regular deliveries and independently manage the allocation and sales of watches to customers.

The Hour Glass is proud to be part of the worldwide network of Official Rolex Retailers and can provide information on the availability of Rolex watches.

Every Rolex is delivered in a beautiful green presentation box that is both protector and keeper of the jewel that nests inside it. As the presentation box is also a symbol of giving, it is important, if you are purchasing a gift, that the recipient’s first contact with their Rolex sets the stage for revealing what lies within.

An ever-present challenge manifested in the brand’s ambition to perfect every component, question every method, and master every aspect of watchmaking expertise. The watches unveiled illustrate a desire to reinvent while preserving a sense of continuity, to innovate while being mindful of tradition, and to leverage technology in daring to create. At a glance, every watch—whether from the Sport, Heritage or Elegance Collection—is recognisably Grand Seiko. Why is this? The answer lies in the unique aesthetic of Grand Seiko and in its very Japanese sense of natural beauty. At the heart of this aesthetic is the Japanese reverence for the way that light paints an ever-changing and subtle picture of our world. In Japan, light and dark are not just absolutes; they are the outer ends of a continuum of shadow. The Japanese sensibility delights in the interplay of light, shadow, and darkness, and the myriad gradations they form. Every Grand Seiko design fully embraces the harmony of light, dark, and shadow. The impression that each Grand Seiko watch creates is always changing, allowing the timepiece to express not only its enduring and understated beauty but also the uniqueness of every moment. Grand Seiko is a watch that celebrates both light and time.

The silhouette of a Grand Seiko watch is crafted from sharp, flat surfaces and straight lines. These surfaces are highly polished by hand by highly skilled craftsmen and women to a perfect, distortion-free mirror finish. The rectangular indexes are diamond cut so that every surface catches the light, as are the broad hour, minute and seconds hands. From the painstaking attention paid to all these elements comes the high legibility and sparkle of quality that have always been the hallmark of Grand Seiko.

Every Grand Seiko watch marks the passage of time with a profound respect for the natural world, expressed through its purity of design, in its quiet sobriety, and meticulous attention to detail.

Hublot’s ground-breaking, high-quality approach to watchmaking has led to innovative designs and high levels of craftsmanship, both in terms of materials and its manufacture movements.

Hublot

The Tudor signature is Born To Dare, reflecting both the brand history and what it stands for today. Created by the founder of Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf, the Tudor Watch Company was born with a mission to explore new territories, offering “a watch that agents could sell at a more modest price than Rolex watches, and yet could attain standards of dependability”. Today, the collection of the award-winning Swiss-made watch brand currently includes flagship lines such as Black Bay, Pelagos, Royal, 1926 and Clair de Rose, many of which are equipped with exclusive mechanical manufacture calibres.

Founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot, who revolutionized the way of producing timepieces. Zenith is the first watch company with a manufacture that hours all aspects of watchmaking under one roof. It is also the first brand to have developed, in 1969, a high-frequency automatic integrated column-wheel chronograph powered by the legendary EL Primero movement beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour.
