Watches of Switzerland Presents Furlan Marri “Bronzo Rosso”

Furlan Marri unveils a new reference in the Mecaquartz collection with the Reference 1205-H, a limited edition of 300 pieces made especially for Watches of Switzerland.

Since the launch of Furlan Marri in 2021, the Mecaquartz story has come a long way and revealed many references: a permanent collection, ephemeral editions and even a unique piece auctioned for charity. Today, a new Reference 1205-H joins this family, made especially for Watches of Switzerland.

The mecaquartz movements were invented after the Quartz crisis in the late 1980s. This movement provides a revolutionary performance, boasting the same accuracy as quartz watches with the crisp performance of mechanical chronographs. This setup also allows the second hand to return instantly to zero when reset.

The new Furlan Marri x Watches of Switzerland Mecaquartz is available in a 38mm brushed bronze case. It retains the engraved ‘tasti tondi’ pushers with ‘perlage’ finish inside the case. This is paired with a burgundy dial with a glossy finish, enhanced by sub-dials in the same tone with a circular finish for a subtle distinction. The logo and pulsation details are in beige and sandy tones bring contrast and interest. The applied Breguet-style hour markers at 6 and 12 o’clock, as well as the domed and curved hands are in 4N rose gold, adding to its elegance.

Engraving on the bronze case
Each watch is individually numbered, with the engraving on between the lugs at 6 o’clock.

On the exterior of the case, between the lugs at 6 o’clock, a special engraving marks numbered edition. Each piece will therefore have a unique number and will also be unique because of its patina. Over time, bronze, a ‘living’ material, will have a different patina for each person.

The screwed diagonal case back is made of stainless steel, for better tolerance when worn next to bare skin. It also allows easier access for servicing Seiko VK64 Mecaquartz movement when required. Each watch comes with two genuine vegetable-tanned leather straps: burgundy red with white stitching, and brown with tone-on-tone stitching, finished with a bronze pin-buckle.

The Furlan Marri Mecaquartz Reference 1205-H Watches of Switzerland Edition is limited to 300 pieces, serialised individually. Available at Watches of Switzerland boutiques in Singapore, New Zealand, and Malaysia.
