TAG Heuer 2020 F1 Chrono

TAG Heuer recently unveiled a sports chronograph to celebrate their longstanding relationship with the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing F1 team. Featuring a colour-scheme identical to that found on the 2020 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing RB16 car.

Dial

Designed in collaboration with the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing team, the 2020 TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch features a blue bezel and blue sunray brushed dial reminiscent of the RB16 body colour. Evidence of this longstanding partnership is also visible under the sapphire crystal dial, in the form of a Red Bull yellow central chronograph seconds hand and a Red Bull red tachymeter scale. Rhodium-plated, Super-LumiNova-coated indexes and hands result in a highly legible and functionable wristwatch – the perfect accompaniment to a day at the F1, whether behind the wheel or watching from the trackside bleachers.

Case

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing Special Edition 2020 features a 43mm stainless-steel case, which has been given a fine-brushed finishing. Flanking the polished screw-down crown at 3 o’clock are two fine-brushed chronograph push buttons – located at 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock. Flip the watch over to see the screwed stainless-steel case-back with a special Aston Martin Red Bull Racing engraving. This TAG Heuer comes with a matching fine-brushed stainless-steel bracelet and folding clasp, with a few tricks up its sleeve to ensure it doesn’t eject open and fall off your wrist mid-race. Water resistant to 200 metres (20 bar).

Movement

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing Special Edition 2020 runs off an accurate quartz movement and includes a suite of complications, including: chronograph with minutes and 1/10th seconds, permanent second indicator; hours, minutes; central chronograph seconds hand and a date window.
