RJ-Romain Jerome celebrates “Orbital” accomplishments with the new Skylab

Skylab Heavy metal

The infinity of space has intrigued mankind for centuries and changed the vision of contemporary dreamers. Inspired by the Universe and man’s accomplishments, RJ-Romain Jerome is proud to re-interpret contemporary history through the reveal of its first skeleton timepiece, the Skylab.

Named after NASA’s first space station and celebrating the 40th anniversary of its launch, the Skylab is an avant-garde skeletal structure housed in a 44 mm case. The movement features five complex layers floating in space carefully held by angled bridges that recall the geometrical patterns of a computer mother board. Inspired by solar panels and combining sleek lines with a complex design, the iconic brand pays tribute to the original space station and its revolutionary construction. By enabling the main parts of the movement to be seen, the architecture of the skeleton shines in representation of the infinity of space.

Skylab Speed Metal

True to the DNA of the brand, each watch in this 99-piece limited edition contains material from Apollo 11 on the bezel and is a testimony to the conquest of space.
