The Hour Glass is pleased to announce the win of Malmaison, in the Singapore Experience Awards organised by Singapore Tourism Board, earlier this month. Testament to the unique shopping experience in Malmaison, it bagged the “Best Shopping Experience” category in the awards that recognise companies that create positive experiences for visitors to Singapore.
A multi-category luxury emporium that opened its doors in February last year, Malmaison by The Hour Glass houses objects of authentic luxury in an elegant and luxurious setting. Besides housing the finest of haute horology, the crème de la crème of the different industries from jewellery, fragrances, exclusive collectible literature to bespoke services for the sartorially inclined, form the backbone of the exceptional Malmaison experience.
Malmaison by The Hour Glass also garnered the 2011 “Best Retail Concept of the Year” award which is accorded by the Singapore Retailers Association, marking the second consecutive win for The Hour Glass in the same category.
The Singapore Experience Awards ceremony this year recognised 30 outstanding businesses and individuals from various industries. The President of Singapore Dr Tony Tan presided over the prestigious affair. A panel of 77 judges comprising local and overseas industry leaders from the fields of dining, education, entertainment and hospitality evaluated the finalists based on a stringent set of criteria including interviews and mystery shopping.
And here is an article from a Mario Squillacioti, contributing writer for Monochrome Watches, who came by to Malmaison earlier this year. He shares his shopping experience here .
