Save The Date: Geneva Watch Days 2021

Thanks to the success of their first edition, the pool of watch brands that had united their forces in 2020 are staging the 2nd edition of Geneva Watch Days later this month. Scheduled around the same dates as last year – from August 30th to September 3rd – it will bring together more than 20 brands representing the art of horology in various hotels, watch manufactures and boutiques in the heart of Geneva.

The Hour Glass is proud to echo this event in South East Asia and will be holding digital press conferences with watch media and journalists during the week to present the latest releases from a selection of our exclusive brands: Girard-Perregaux, Ulysse Nardin, De Bethune, MB&F, Urwerk and Louis Erard.

Stay tuned if you don’t want to miss the latest news from the world’s watchmaking capital!

A ‘Phygital’ Watch Fair

While each of the Maisons will present its new products to the press and customers in its own space – whether in a boutique, manufacture or hotel – this initiative will constitute one of the major multi-brand in-person watchmaking events in Switzerland this year.

A common area set up at the Rotonde du Mont-Blanc be the rallying point. The show will be both physical and digital. Enabling customers and media – still facing travel restrictions related to public health constraints in certain countries – to discover the latest models in real-time thanks to video-conferencing technologies, making it global in scope and reach.

Unlike the digital Watches & Wonders 2021 fair, Geneva Watch Days offers a hybridised model, merging the best of digital interaction with physical engagement. While it doesn’t provide quite the same breadth as the now-defunct Baselworld did, Geneva Watch Days is one of the few opportunities for the industry to meet in person, talk watches and form new relationships.

Festive Activations

In addition to the individual exhibitions during the day, Geneva Watch Days will also celebrate this four-day event in the evening with festive activations organised exclusively for the media and the associated brand’s clients. All of which will be in strict compliance with prevailing public health measures, including social distancing.
