The Hour Glass And F.P. Journe Strengthens Alliance In Singapore

The Hour Glass is proud to announce the opening of a new point-of-sale at their thematic salon, L’Atelier by The Hour Glass at ION. After a brief exit from Singapore’s watch collecting landscape, the gathering of over 200 VIP collectors and friends of The Hour Glass to celebrate his return in April 2016 is testament to the allure that this highly acclaimed independent Master Watchmaker still holds over watch aficionados in Singapore.

The strategic alliance between The Hour Glass and F.P.Journe, was announced at the beginning of this year. This partnership marks once again The Hour Glass’ prominent status as a purveyor of independent watchmaking and a patron of this highly fastidious craftsmanship. L’Atelier at ION was chosen as the strategic location to unveil a new point-of-sale as it remains one of the first watch retail spaces designed to provide a window into the life of a master craftsman and his artisanship. The poetic nature of the store concept ties in with the mastery of Mr François-Paul Journe.

In January 2016, the first Espace F.P.Journe in Singapore was unveiled at the prestigious Malmaison boutique located in the heart of Orchard Road. In continuing the stride to be prevalent at the epicentre of Singapore’s retail scene, L’Atelier by The Hour Glass at ION is purely an organic location for this second merchandising space.

L’Atelier by The Hour Glass is a strategic point-of-sale as it is one of the first watch retail spaces designed to provide a window into the life of a master craftsman and his artisanship.

From the outstanding Grande Sonnerie, the ultra slim Répétition Souveraine, the emblematic Chronomètre à Résonance or the newest timepieces unveiled this year which includes the Octa Divine and Elegante in a new case size, these are some of the extraordinary timepieces that can be discovered at both retail spaces.
