BVLGARI Now at The Hour Glass Auckland
BVLGARI in New Zealand: It brings us great pleasure to welcome BVLGARI to The Hour Glass Auckland.
Founded in Rome in 1884 by Sotirio Bulgari, the Italian brand rapidly established a reputation for exquisite craftsmanship and magnificent jewellery creations. Over the decades, the Maison defined a distinctive style made of vibrant colour combinations, artistically balanced volumes and iconic motifs that pay homage to the Roman roots of the company. Always revering its rich cultural legacy, Bulgari has been hugely successful in rewriting the rules of the jewellery and watchmaking universes, launching new trends that stand out as exemplary contemporary designs.
One such example is the Octo Finissimo S.
A Contemporary Classic – The Octo Finissimo S
Featuring a wafer-thin automatic movement and a water resistance of I00 meters, made possible by increasing the case just slightly to 6.4mm and adding a screw down crown. The Octa Finissimo saga is driven by a passion for excellence, showing a remarkable attention to detail and unique expertise in all its designs.
World Record Holder
Octa is known for its mechanical brilliance, the Maison leverages the expertise of Swiss watchmaking to create new editions that are technical masterpieces – a feature that is made even more impressive by the thinness of the designs. Since its debut in 2014, Octa Finissimo has redrawn the boundaries of style, mastering a rare combination of aesthetic vision and mechanical expertise. Winning more than 50 awards and 6 world records for thinness.
Black & Blue Lacquered Dials
Debuting in Dubai last year with a polished lacquered black dial, BVLGARI has since introduced the Octa Finissimo Automatic Satin-Polished Steel with a polished lacquered blue dial. Already renowned for its thinness, the new Octo Finissimo S imparts an extra degree of versatility, thanks to its stainless-steel construction.
Unparalleled Versatility – An All-Wheel Drive on the Wrist
“We’re taking these record-setting timepieces from being a Supercar to a Grand Turismo — an extraordinary car that you drive every day. Compared to the extreme Sportscar it’s more like an all-wheel drive, as it’s 100 meters waterproof – you have the screw crown, you can dive, swim, take a shower; it’s great for dressing up or dressing down so you can wear it from the tennis court to the board room.”, commented Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin.
