Max Büsser : Creative Adult is a Child Who Survived
This is a story about a rebellion. A man who kept his dreams alive and the spirit he had as a child. Maximilian Büsser – once a ‘lonely child’ whose room is both his ‘prison and kingdom’ – has grown to become one of the most-revered genius minds in high watchmaking industry. He rose to managing director position of Harry Winston Rare Timepieces in 1998 when he was just 31 and went on to transforming the company into a highly respected brand. Before that, it was none other than Henry-Jean Belmont, CEO of the then-ailing Jaeger-LeCoultre, who invited him to “come and join us,” and mentored him through the exciting period of growth. Later in 2005, the desire to stay true to his creative self saw Max break free from the more ‘traditional’ route and found Max Büsser & Friends (MB&F).
Having collaborated with some of the most brilliant minds in the high watchmaking industry, Maximilian Büsser’s extreme creativity has left the watchmaking world with the stunning range of horological inventions. Among the creations are Horological Machines, the futuristic, fiercely unconventional timekeeping machines shaped by childhood dreams such as super cars airplanes, and Sci-Fi, and Legacy Machines, the very embodiment of wild imagination, traveling back-in-time in the high watchmaking history and reinterpret timekeeping machines MB&F would have created 100 years ago.
HM8 – Horological Machine No.8, the contemporary machine inspired by childhood dreams of designing race-car.
LMSE – Legacy Machine Split Escapement Titanium Green – limited to 33 pieces only
LM FlyingT – Unlocking the feminine side of MB&F
