Excellence, precision, authenticity and chronometry are the essence of an F.P. Journe watch. A unique feature of the brand is producing all its movements in 18K rose Gold – a first in the watch world.
For the past 34 years, François-Paul Journe has been “inventing” and “making” watches. Drawing on his historical knowledge and expertise to face the most daring horological challenges, Journe demonstrates a timeless consistency in research and innovation with a single goal: to make each mechanical timepiece as accurate as possible.
F.P.Journe’s high-horology creations have spanned decades, showcasing an exceptional watch pedigree that includes the astounding Grande Sonnerie, the ultra-slim Répétition Souveraine, the emblematic Chronomètre à Résonance, the robust Chronomètre Optimum, as well as the versatile Octa automatic calibre, with a 5-days power reserve.
These inventions have resulted in Mr. Journe being complimented with some of the most prestigious horological awards throughout the world – namely 7 distinctions at the GPGH in Geneva (including 3 of the “Golden Hand” awards; the ultimate recognition for a watchmaker), along with numerous “Watch of the Year” distinctions in Japan, China, Switzerland and Mexico. Francois-Paul was also decorated with the title of “Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres” by the French Minister of Culture in 2016.
The Third Edition of the Vagabondage Trilogy – F.P Journe presents the third and last edition of the Vagabondage Series, “Vagabondage III”.
The tortue-case shaped timepiece is the world’s first mechanical digital jumping seconds wristwatch and features a movement with a remontoir d’égalité that advances the time train each second. The timepiece is also characterized by an inner smoked sapphire dial framed by a screwed “applique” outer dial, revealing a stunning 18K Rose Gold movement.
