PMT The Hour Glass, Thailand’s leading luxury retailers announced an exclusive collaboration with Ladurée to introduce their range of fine offerings in Bangkok. Established in 1862, Ladurée is recognized globally as the original creator of macarons in the world.
Exclusive collaboration will enable Thai clients to indulge in macarons and other iconic products from the renowned Parisian brand.
The Ladurée collection of macarons, chocolates, and confectionary will be retailed through two outlets in Bangkok – These will be located on M Floor of Siam Paragon Shopping Center and the Laduree Boutique at Siam Paragon will additionally house an exclusive sit-in tearoom section offering its clients the Maison’s famous ice-cream and beverages.

As one of Thailand’s premier luxury retail groups, PMT The Hour Glass has been at the forefront; setting fresh benchmarks to up its cultural retail offerings in the luxury sector. Our collaboration with the globally renowned Ladurée brand further augments this vision to become Asia’s leading cultural retail enterprise.”
The Ladurée offerings in Asia are currently available in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, China, South Korea and Taiwan.
Mr. David Holder, Chairman of Ladurée elaborates, “The Ladurée tradition dates back to the 1860s and there is a very strong heritage and brand reputation in what we do and offer customers worldwide. In making an entry into Thailand, we chose a like-minded partner in PMT The Hour Glass to introduce this slice of French culture here.”
Under the exclusive arrangement, the Ladurée range of products will give buyers in Thailand an identical experience as they would have in Paris.
Filled with an abundance of decorative objects and antiquities, the Ladurée boutique has been passionately built, painted and upholstered. The interior design is an essential part of the Maison’s art de vivre with the goal of creating a memorable French ambience – full of beauty, comfort and above all, exquisite delicacy. The boutique is designed to evoke a dream, fairly-tale world in which anything is possible.
Greatly inspired by Ladurée’s legendary tearoom on Rue Royale in Paris, the majestic façade of the new Siam Paragon Boutique is adorned with beautiful, ornate canopy bearing the Maison’s colors and gold lettering. Offering spacious takeaway section as well as the beautiful tearoom area, the boutique’s furniture and prestigious materials were selected with great care. Luxurious white marble was chosen to decorate the sales counter whilst the tall shelves are piled high with Ladurée’s iconic boxes and ribbons. On the ceiling, the sky is filled with serene tones and decorated with cherubs.
Imbued with refined atmosphere, the exquisite tea room section is adorned with French wallpaper from the Maison Braquenié, with a neo-classical design featuring hot air balloons in shades of pink and pale blue-green.
To celebrate the opening of the boutique, Ladurée has created a special limited edition “Thailand Macaron Box”. Designed by Ladurée team in Paris, the special box will be available for sales exclusively in Thailand.
Additionally, two giant iconic Ladurée macaron pyramids, 2.7m and 3.2m in height have been constructed by the brand’s pastry chef from Paris. Each tree holds over 3,000 colorful Ladurée macarons and will be on display for one month after the opening date on M Floor at Siam Paragon.
