Innovation without limits

Building on the success of the red ceramic released in 2018, Hublot introduces a new brightly coloured high-tech ceramic.  Created through a patented process, the Yellow Magic ceramic is entirely developed and produced by the Manufacture’s R&D department and its Metallurgy & Materials laboratory.

It took four years of development to find the perfect balance of temperature and pressure to allow the ceramic to sinter without burning the pigments. Retaining the properties and colorimetry of  yellow pigments while increasing wear resistance of this harder than usual ceramic (1350 HV versus 1200 HV) was an audacious challenge for Hublot.

The Big Bang Unico Yellow Magic  is testament to Hublot’s commitment to push the boundaries of material, colour and technology. It is the latest addition to an already impressive range of red, blue, beige and green.  This statement piece will shine on your wrist, making for an excellent conversation starter.

Limited edition

Available in a limited edition of 250 pieces, the solar power of its 42mm case and its bezel shine in the light of this yellow ceramic. In an ultra-invigorating colour palette, the flange, indexes, minute and seconds counters, Arabic numerals and hands are all in this sunny yellow, to highlight the mechanism of the Unico HUB1280 manufacture movement and its column wheel, visible on the dial side through the sapphire crystal.
