For the past 34 years, François-Paul Journe has been “inventing” and “making” watches. Drawing on his historical knowledge and expertise to face the most daring horological challenges, Journe demonstrates a timeless consistency in research and innovation with a single goal: to make each mechanical timepiece as accurate as possible.

F.P.Journe’s high-horology creations have spanned decades, and their inventions have resulted in Mr.Journe being complimented with some of the most prestigious horological awards throughout the world – namely 7 distinctions at the GPGH in Geneva (including three of the “Golden Hand” awards; the ultimate recognition for a watchmaker), along with numerous “Watch of the Year” distinctions in Japan, China, Switzerland and Mexico. Francois-Paul was also decorated with the title of “Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres” by the French Minister of Culture in 2016.
