Parmigiani Fleurier took the stage at Singapore’s iconic arts and cultural landmark, Esplanade, celebrating the brand’s partnership with Singapore’s finest luxury watch retailer, The Hour Glass. A specially orchestrated dinner setting was the highlight of the evening for more than 150 attending guests on the magnificent stage of the Esplanade Theatre. Honouring the brand’s philosophy – Exact & Exultant – guests were kept entertained with a display of enlivening performances that highlighted the brand’s exquisiteness and grace.
Hosted by Executive Chairman of The Hour Glass, Dr. Henry Tay and CEO of Parmigiani Fleurier, Mr. Jean-Marc Jacot, the evening was a spectacle of not just the brand’s subtle elegance but of its high horological expertise especially with the unveiling of the much anticipated Bugatti Super Sports – limited edition of 10 pieces made exclusively for The Hour Glass group to commemorate this select partnership. The Bugatti Super Sport – The Hour Glass Exclusive is given a special surface treatment with black ADLC coating, a much sportier version than the original.

The evening was a tribute in many ways to Parmigiani Fleurier’s classical aesthetics and generosity of spirit, with a visual and aural fest for attending guests. A meticulously choreographed dance by the awe-inspiring Orientarhythm flown in all the way from Japan and his inaugural performance in Singapore, embodied the brand’s philosophy ‘Exact & Exultant’, in line with the brand’s fully independent manufacture. It denotes the fundamental balance the brand achieves between utter control and absolute freedom; everlasting designs and bondless innovation.
The endearing song performance by Singapore’s very own young Miguel Antonio showcased the brand’s altruistic vision when it comes to watch making especially with the brand’s constant efforts with restoration. Restoration is seen by Parmigiani as a constant dialogue between the excellence of the past and the quest to use its expressions in watchmaking of the future. Supporting 11-year-old Miguel and providing this opportunity to perform on such a platform, is merely one of the ways through which Parmigiani Fleurier looks into the future in search of true talent.
The evening ended off on a high with a delightful performance by the timeless Donne Ray Radford demonstrating the brand’s sophistication and refinement. The charismatic entertainer is most illustriously known for his time as the 4th generation lead singer of The Platters and still his charm was undeniable as guests grooved and jived to his velvety vocals – the pinnacle highlight to an evening of celebration and exuberance.
