A Tribute To The Late Mr Lee Kuan Yew

A palpable sense of loss is felt in the country as we mourn the passing of our founding father and visionary leader, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. This one man who fought the odds and seemingly insurmountable challenges 50 years ago catapulted Singapore on the world stage today. This Singapore which we call our home.

Mr Lee played an instrumental role in the development of Singapore as a major business hub; with his astute policies and vision. His tremendous foresight put Singapore in good stead and we have been lauded as one of the most successful small nations to be modelled after. With this perspicacious judgement of his that led our nation to success, it had also enabled The Hour Glass to thrive both locally and globally for 35 years.

Together with the nation, we mourn this man’s passing yet honour his spirit and life.
