A NEW CHRONICLE OF TIME
MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY HOROLOGICAL ART

Witness the world premiere of the Museum of Contemporary Horological Art (MOCHA). First announced in September 2006, it is the flagship initiative of The Hour Glass Foundation of Contemporary Horological Art (FOCHA) – an institution aimed at promoting globally, the art and culture of contemporary watchmaking.

Aspiring to be what New York’s Museum of Modern Art is to the modern and contemporary art world, MOCHA will house some of the most important collections of contemporary horological art and design. In the first installation of MOCHA, witness the changing faces of the wristwatch over the past 30 years, with collections from rare private collections and international museums.

These technical marvels will be presented at TEMPUS in 5 categories, namely “Fun with Numbers & Timekeepers – Mechanical Distillation of Timekeeping”, “Double Face – Watches that Utilise Decentralised Multiple Sub-dials”, The Visible World”, “Soul Barring – New Design Aesthetics, as well as “A Diffferent Case – Different Materials Used”. View these works of horological art, which have changed the face of time over the past decades.
